Cuicocha is Cotacachi´s volcano young crater, it is filled with  an amazing lagoon and in the middle of it three islets that clog the lava conduit.

Tour: Early departure from Quito (7:30 a.m.) heading to the north of the city traveling throught the awesome Guayllabamba Canyon and having a great view of the Cayambe Volcano. Arrive to Cotacachi and near 09:30 Cuicocha about where we get ready for the walk of about five hours around the crater; Box Lunch. And return to Quito in the afternoon.
